Scholarship Selection Criteria

CESF scholarships are based on a number of primary
criteria and individual assessments will take into account some of the following:

• Financial distress
• Personal resilience
• Ability to overcome adversity
• Active social participation
• Engagement in extra curricula activities
• Individual motivation
• Demonstrated potential
• Well balanced outlook
• Academically gifted

 

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP

1. Original K.C.P.E. Result Slip (minimum score B)
2. School Leaving Certificate
3. Form One Admission Letter (With attached fee structure)
4. Handwritten Application Letter
5. Copy of Birth Certificate
6. Original and Copy of Parents’ Death Certificates (For orphans)
7. Three Previous Report Cards (For Form Two and Above Applicants)
8. Confirmation Letter from Previous Head Teacher
9. Submit an Application Form (Available from contact below or your head teacher)
10. If you obtain a Scholarship, you must maintain a “B” Average
11. If you fail to maintain a “B” Average, you shall be placed on Probation for one term. Failure to improve your Grades during the probationary period shall result in automatic disqualification.
12. No Disciplinary Problems.


It is important to note that while financial distress is an important consideration, other factors such as resilience, demonstrated ability to overcome adversity, resourcefulness and active participation in extra-curricula activities are factored when determining an individual‘s ranking.

The CESF seeks well rounded and motivated students who have shown potential to become model citizens and who will ultimately contribute to their communities.
